A compact web guide controller with advanced,
easy to use features.

The Micro 1000 provides
accurate, reliable,
cost-effective performance.

The Micro 1000® web guide controller delivers the highest level of web guide accuracy in the industry. It easily interfaces with all of AccuWeb’s dynamically compensated WideArray™ and standard edge detectors, AccuBeam® 3 line guide, and light- to medium-thrust linear actuators — all in one, compact enclosure.

Remote guide point adjust station

• Digital Speed and Accuracy — Automatically calibrates the web guide system for environmental changes, web process contamination and web edge changes every 4 milliseconds.
• Operator Friendly — Intuitive touch pad interface with LED indicators. Setup parameters are located inside the controller, safe from inadvertent adjustments.

Dynamically compensated edge detectors

• No Setup Downtime — The system performs continuous automatic calibration of edge detectors through AccuWeb’s exclusive dynamic compensation process.
• Network Friendly — An optional discreet PLC I/O (Performance Logic Controller Input/Output) board allows remote control of the Micro 1000.

Digital line guides

• Easy Installation — All components are contained within this single enclosure – reducing interconnections and easily installs on web guide equipment next to the web guide frame.
• Applications — Linear actuators can be applied to guide frames (both positive displacement guides and steering roll guides), unwind stands, winders, rewinders, coilers, and uncoilers.

High performance
electromechanical actuators (150 – 1500 lbs of thrust)

• Ratings — Enclosure is rated IP65 for protection from harsh environments, and designed to UL, EUL, CUL, CE and FCC codes. Reference UL certification at www.ul.com.

• PWM (Pulsed Width Modulated) actuator motor drives for quick, accurate response.
• Compact self-contained design requires no additional boxes or drives.
• Capable of web oscillation and electronic guide point adjustment.
• Ideal for laminating applications, software controls the positioning of one web relative to a second web or multiple webs.
