Our AccuGuide™ PDG-PS Series, part of AccuWeb’s complete line of Positive Displacement Guide systems, are engineered for ease of use and dependability. These compact formed steel web guide assemblies are cost effective and easy to install. A proprietary linear bearing system allows the guide assembly to be installed in any orientation. Special custom units, designed for specific manufacturer retrofits are available.
The typical PDG-PS Series system is equipped with a Micro® 1000 web guide controller, a PointSource™ edge detector, and electromechanical linear actuator.
The AccuGuide PDG-AP Series, manufactured from rugged anodized aluminum, delivers premium performance, even in the most demanding mid-to-narrow web applications. All AccuGuide Positive Displacement Guides employ the same proprietary linear bearing system that allows the guide assembly to be installed in vertical, horizontal, or inverted positions for optimum application flexibility. Both mechanical and pneumatic splice tables are available options for any size PDG.
The PDG-AP Series comes in both imperial and metric roll faces and fittings. If a stock drop-in unit does not match your needs, a custom AccuGuide PDG-AP can be designed for your specific applications.
Depending on the web width, tension requirements or degree of customization, the PDG-AP may be equipped with PointSource or WideArray™ Edge Detectors, the AccuBeam® 3 line guide, Micro 1000 or Micro 4000®NET web guide controllers, and a broad selection of electromechanical linear actuators.
A remote station can be located anywhere, allowing operators to adjust the guide points in as small as .001 inch increments within the wide detection range to fine tune web position with digital accuracy and repeatability. Web gage position and guide point can be communicated via PLC inputs using the Micro 4000NET Controller.
